The Hrvatski institut za pokret i ples - HIPP (Croatia) is launching an international open call for participation in the DCL - Dance Communication Lab programme within the Beyond Front@:Bridging Periphery project. 

The Dance Communication Lab is a short-term international exchange programme between dance artists, the main aim of which is to bring together six professional dance artists from European partner countries to get to know each other through improvisation, the most characteristic creative process in contemporary dance. 

The two-day Dance Communication Lab will take place in Zagreb, under the mentorship of dance artist and choreographer Petra Hrašćanec. The international workshop will conclude with a public performance on the evening of 20 May at the Zagreb Dance Center.

The DCL - Dance Communication Lab is part of the Creative Europe project Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery (2023-2026), which was created by the Central European Dance Theatre (Hungary), Bunker (Slovenia), Hrvatski institut za pokret i ples - HIPP (Croatia), Krakowski Teatr Tańca (Poland), M STUDIO (Romania) and Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts (Sweden) to promote the local development of contemporary dance.
