M Studio (Romania) is launching an international open call for participation in the DCL - Dance Communication Lab programme. 

The Dance Communication Lab is a short-term international exchange programme between dance artists, the main aim of which is to bring together six professional dance artists from European partner countries to get to know each other through improvisation, the most characteristic creative process in contemporary dance. 

The aim of the programme is to create opportunities for dance artists from different countries to work together and to provide them with valuable experiences that will help them to develop their careers on the international dance scene. The workshop will be mentored by Romanian dancer and choreographer Simona Deaconescu.

The DCL - Dance Communication Lab is part of the Creative Europe project Beyond Fronta: Bridging Periphery (2023-2026), a partnership between Central Europe Dance Theatre (Hungary), Bunker (Slovenia), Hrvatski institut za pokret i ples - HIPP (Croatia), Krakowski Teatr Tańca (Poland), M STUDIO (Romania) and Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts (Sweden), which aims to promote the local development of contemporary dance.
