Marta Ladjánszki

Marta Ladjánszki

Marta Ladjánszki studied classical ballet, sertorna, jazz and modern dance in Hungary and Vienna, and at the end of 1996 he was the founder of the KOMPmÁNIA Contemporary Dance Theatrewhere he worked as a dancer and co-choreographer. In 2001 he joined the L1 Association where he still works today as artistic vice-president.

When he began his independent creative work, he created choreographies that were generally solo centred, specifically based on the physical and its limits. Over the last 27 years, he has gradually opened up to choreography and multi-actor pieces, as he did in his first series of shows, the Situation reportM-(2008 - 2010).

Since 2018, NaVKE and Bakelit MAC have been working together as artistic directors to organise and perform at the ‘Dance Performances Evening Series with Naked Spectators’ series. Interview on the topic here: https://fedelnelkul.hu/2020/01/23/ladjanszki-marta/

By his own admission, he follows his inner impulses and believes in every movement:
„I like to enchant the viewer, to open the gateway that is dominant in him or her about a particular subject.”
