We are pleased to announce that the company of Central Europe Dance Theatre will perform in Sweden on 14 March! The Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts will host our performance Four Seasons, a collaboration with Polish choreographer Maciej Kuźmiński.
The performance - which has already been a great success in several European cities - combines European contemporary dance with elements of Hungarian folk dance, while reinterpreting the rituals of Central and Eastern Europe in a contemporary context. The Four Seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter - creates a striking atmosphere and explores existential issues such as rebirth, free will and the relationship between man and time.
More details about the performance in Sweden on Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts website you can read.
The Four Seasons performance at the Beyond Fronta: Bridging Periphery is part of the Creative Europe project (2023-2026), a partnership between Central Europe Dance Theatre (Hungary), Bunker (Slovenia), Hrvatski institut za pokret i ples - HIPP (Croatia), Krakowski Teatr Tańca (Poland), M STUDIO (Romania) and Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts (Sweden), in order to promote the local development of contemporary dance.
