Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery<\/p>\n

Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery is a new Creative Europe project created by Central Europe Dance Theatre (Hungary), Bunker (Slovenia), HIPP (Croatia), Krakow Dance Theatre (Poland), M Studio (Romania) and Vitlycke - Centre for Performing Arts (Sweden) to foster local development of the contemporary dance fields. The project is announcing an Open Call for participation in the festival program of the 5th edition of FLOW Festival, that will take place between 17 and 23 of June 2024 in Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe, Romania, organized by M Studio and Moira Cultural and Youth Association.<\/p>\n

FLOW Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n

Flow, as the flow of water, floating, swaying, swirling. The name suggests the dynamism and innovation of the festival, reflecting movement and circulation. The idea of the festival was born in 2015 to celebrate M Studio's 10th anniversary with the aim of creating a dance and movement theatre event that is unique in the region.<\/p>\n

The event proposes to showcase the different and authentic current trends in contemporary dance and movement to the audience of the city of Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe and the region as well.<\/p>\n

Over the years we have managed to present companies that represent a unique dance language and style, as well as being internationally known and recognised.<\/p>\n

M Studio<\/strong><\/p>\n

M Studio is a dance and movement theatre company founded in 2005 in Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe, Romania. The artistic universe of the company is formed by a specific and unique choreographic language, born from the fusion of physical theatre, contemporary dance and the actor's art. Through its artistic program M Studio promotes the values of contemporary dance and experimental theatre, creating innovative performances directed by professionally recognized choreographers.<\/p>\n

Who can apply<\/strong><\/p>\n

The application is open to professional dancers, choreographers and companies in the fields of contemporary dance and performing arts active only in Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery partner countries: Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Sweden.<\/p>\n

The performances should have a duration of min. 40, max. 75 minutes.<\/p>\n

Expenses<\/strong><\/p>\n

The organiser will cover the following expenses for participants:<\/p>\n

- Fees<\/p>\n

- Accommodation<\/p>\n

- Travel costs<\/p>\n

Application<\/strong> You can apply by completing our Google Form<\/a>. Please note that one company\/choreographer can send a maximum of 2 applications.<\/p>\n

Please submit your application by the 5th of March 2024.<\/p>\n

We will announce the results of the open call by the 25th of March 2024.<\/p>\n
