Forum of Young Choreographers<\/strong> - IKF 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Central European Dance Theatre is pleased to announce that this year it will again \u201eIKF 2023\u201d - Forum of Young Choreographers<\/em> an open call for applications under the name of the Talent programme. This year is the 25th edition of the\u00a0<\/strong>we will give the opportunity to the creators to show their work. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2013, the KET set out to develop a new strategy to build a new basis for working with the youngest creators and to open up new perspectives for working with them. The launch of the talent programme has confirmed the need for our initiative, with 24 young choreographers, including international artists, having been given the opportunity to present their work: Bernadett Jobb\u00e1gy, Mil\u00e1n \u00dajv\u00e1ri, Gabriella P\u00e1lfi, Zolt\u00e1n Grecs\u00f3, Dorottya Ujsz\u00e1szi, Kinga Varga, J\u00falia Gyulai, G\u00e1bor Hal\u00e1sz, Judit Szamosi, Anik\u00f3 Kiss, Beatrix Simk\u00f3, P\u00e9ter Lajos T\u00fari, Krist\u00f3f Samu, Krisztina Szarvas, D\u00e1vid Mik\u00f3, Gyula Cserepes, Eva Urbanova (SK), Anna Miku\u0142a-Pawe\u0142 Urbanowicz (PL), Magda Niedzielska (PL), Csilla Nagy, Rita G\u00f3bi and two dancers from KET, Kriszti\u00e1n Barna and D\u00e1vid Dab\u00f3czi.<\/p>\n

Many of the young artists listed have been invited to create independent works for the KET. In 2017, Beatrix Simk\u00f3's demonstration was nominated for the Rudolf L\u00e1b\u00e1n Prize, and in 2023, Magda Niedzielska's creation was selected for the 10th Theatre Olympics.<\/p>\n

The winner will have the opportunity to spend an evening at the Sissi Autumn Dance<\/em> to work within the framework of the KET: we provide you with the KET company and a rehearsal room where you can work with the artists for a week under professional mentorship. At the end of the week, the work will be presented in a public demonstration at the Bethlen T\u00e9ri Theatre, where the theatre's technicians and technicians will be available. The finished choreography will be documented in a photo documentary, which will serve as a reference for the young artists in their future competitions. In addition, before the one-week rehearsal process, further opportunities will be provided for the preparation of the demonstration with training sessions for the dancers, during which the performers will get to know the young choreographers' own world of movement, while the creators will also get to know the programme's dance artists.<\/p>\n
